It's excellent to have someone from across the pond. I'm sure you can lend quite a bit of useful information since many of our imitations derive from your lands. I'm just reading about soft hackles and wet flies (about to tie some in a few moments) and would love to hear your ideas.

Welcome aboard.

Hi Ashley,

I live in the US but my Dad is from Newcastle, Co. Down, Northern Ireland and my Mom is from Warrington, England. She spent many years of her childhood in Aberdyfi, Wales. I have been there many times and it is beautiful. If I ever won the lotto........................

Ever heard of it?

Sippy,

Aberdyfi rings a bell but I've heard of Warrington,I lived near there for a few years while I was supposed to be at school.I was fishing just save someone asking.

Ashley,

Nice to meet you. It's great to talk to someone across the seas. I was lucky enough to be in the local baitshop(KY) when an English lady came in and bought some flyline for her husband. She said he fly fished over there....

Welcome aboard.

Billy
