Ah ... a beautiful scene, with a beautiful song from a beautiful soul of a man.

No one will ever match Satchmo's rendition of that song.

Beautiful picture! I have never fished a river that size before, how do you decide where to fish first? I would be lost as to where to start.

Thanks a lot, Cannonx4 :-)

I fairly easy to decide beacuse the trout rises quite close to the shore many places in this river. So you would not be lost at all.

If you in addition to overhandcast can do some speycasting the sky´s the limit in this river :-)

This river also the most productive river in Norway when it comes to insect life, and we have lots of different spiecies when it comes to mayflies, caddis, stoneflies, midge etc etc..... that means that there is insects on the surface almost all

the summer and you will find big rising trout and grayling from early june to mid september :-)

Terje-

Great photograph! Colors are vivid, composition of the image is very good: you have a foreground elements (trees) river carries throughout the image, and the far shore line

leads the viewers eye to the house in the distance.

Your photos are a joy, please keep posting.

Thanks

Bill

Thanks for your more than kind comment, Bill :-) :-)

I always try to make sure there is foreground elements in a landscape photo. Hopefully i can make the viewer feel that he/she gets sucked into the picture :-)

Thanks again for your comment, i appreciate it a lot :-)
