jfinn 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2015 I picked up some SF fiber to make a few bait fish imitations and was wondering if anyone had a good tip for handling them. It seemed like i drop or lost a lot of fibers just getting them out of the package.
agn54 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2015 For SF fiber, keep them in the package and only pull out the few strands you need, otherwise you could have a mess on your hands. Just push the fibers out the top about a 1/2 inch and then pinch the strands you need and pull them out, then push the rest back in the package
add147 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2015 Also on the SF fibers if you happen to take them out of the package like I did you will have a heck of a time getting back in the package. What I did was roll my fibers up in a sheet of paper on them place paper and fibers back in the package. Worked like a charm for me at least.
Philly 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2015 I don't use the SF fibers but I do blend flash into the fibers I do use. What I do after I'm done blending is roll the material into a bundle and use a small plastic wire tie to secure one end of the bundle, trim the tag end and slide it back into the original plastic bag. You can still pull small bunches of the fiber out.
