j8000 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2017 Since I tie for fun, quality (most of the time) and fishing; I am generally not in that big of a hurry where I need the scissors in my hands constantly, I vote on keeping the scissors down at an easy to grab spot. RickZieger 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2017 Another point I forgot until I was tying late yesterday. Scissors in hand make it easy to pick up the materials in a loop when you are doing a weaving fly. This way the loop can be kept smaller when the other strand comes thru it.
