Sandan 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2018 Last for January. As an upstate New Yorker, from the Catskill area, I cut my fly fishing teeth on Schoharie Creek and the Esopus. I thought a Catskill style fly would be apropriate. Here's to February's flies, cheers

RexW 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2018 "The Stevenson" - round 2 My second attempt at this pattern and style of fly. Better than the first attempt, but still has some problem areas (especially, the gap between the blue floss and the red herl, that I didn't see before taking the photo. ). However, I'm having fun learning this style of tying.
