not much of a colour diff. the females were a bit lighter and they had the yellow egg sacs on them as well.

i found these mayflys around my house the other day there was quite the hatch going on. in comparison this piece of cardboard is about 8" by 8"

ya i have to weight till the last saturday of june to get out for bass thats our regs up here in ontario in my division. hopeing to get a big bass like the one in my avatar on a fly. that one was caught while spin fishing. but it was almost dead in our boat and it woudlnt revive so we had to keep it. it was 7 lbs even.

sorry i was in a rush to post this one. the body is crosscut rabbit strips. first one tied in is a olive strip wrap it once or twice. then cut the excess off. then tye in a white rabbit cross cut strip and wrap it once or twice. then cut off the rest. tye in the remaning bit of olive rabbit strip then wrap it agian. then cut the rest. then the white wrap it once or twice agian. then cut, the the last bit is more olve strip wraped once. make sure the strips are tightly wraped together when they are put on the hook, or u will not have the room to tye them on. i cant wait for the bass eather

i have heard of guys useing florocarbon tippet for pike and muskie i use knotable wire for a leader
