The funny thing about that artical is it was made using Clear Cure Goo. The whole reason it was written was to show how fast and easy you can make a spoon fly using CCG. But as the wonderful world of editors goes the changed it to say epoxy because CCG is not a advertiser of the mag. There is a video of how they did it on clearcuregoo.com

Yea on the Nantahala a nymph is prob. you best bet. It is a dam controled river so you need to be careful and check on the release times. When they release it the water is and mostly class 3 to 5 rapids, it very tough to wade. The Nantahala is the only river in NC you can fish at night because of this reason but I do not recomend it when its really dark.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Hello, my name is Steven and I am new to the site and pretty new to tying. I have had a kit for at least 12yrs but never really messed with it. About two years ago I took a tying class through the pisgah center for wildlife edu. and i brought a new RENZETTI vise and a few other things. Now a year later i am starting to tye a good bit. I still need alot of practice but I am gettin better. I fish alot so tying my on flys really would be the way to go, LOL
