  1. I've been told that the only CDC that works in the tool is the stuff sold by the guy who makes it and his stuff is from geese. So I reckon if you can get goose CDC you should be OK. Ashley

  3. I use mink on two of my best dries,1 of which is deadly for Grayling in late fall/winter I think they take for midges. The other is good in March/April. I've also got a mink strip streamer which I'm taking to Slovenia in June. Ashley

    Dream trip

I would go to the Bahamas bone fishing or Florida for the Tarpon.Actually if I hadn't left it to late for research and getting a cheap flight I'd be going this year! Where's troutbum live again?
  14. The first goal is to fish more than I did last year. 2.Not to break a rod on a bluefish or anything else. 3.Fish streamers in trout streams more.

  18. QUOTE (Shoe @ Feb 5 2004, 01:37 PM) Next thing, they'll have you fishing off a bridge at a trout pond next to a fly shop...lol This is nothing,I once worked on a trout farm and the boss caught trying a new fly in the stew pond right behind his house.
  19. Hope he can shoot straight after all that beer. With that lot he must have to wait a looong time.
  20. QUOTE (DFix @ Jan 30 2004, 04:17 PM) can be construed as material requiring duty be paid upon entry into the foreign country. This all depends on how much the items is worth, generally I get swaps back with $0 to $10 written on the declarention form which means a duty is not due.Anything over $30 (I think) is charged a duty or tax at a standrd rate. Some packets do get through above the rate and I don't pay anything!
  21. Congrats to all the winners,it was very hard to choose cos all the flies were excellent. Thanks to SM and BDH for putting this togeather. Back to the drawing board for me.
  22. When I'm travelling I use a cheap regal copy simply because I've been know to leave a vice still clamped to the table in the hotel. At home I use a regal original and dyna king barracuda.
  23. I'm in.With a hares ears nymph,don't know which colour I'll do.
  24. Nice box, after all the woolly buggers I've been tying I could do with one.Do you carry it or does it have wheels?
