  1. Finally, imitation being the sincerest form of flattery. Hat's off to Kimo and Lucien. Apologies for bad photograhy
  2. And a fly that used to be known as a Prince (variant) for GP flyfisherman.
  3. A few 22's and 24's getting ready for the San Juan. Chocolate foam emergers a variant or two and a chocolate mercury RS2

    Fish Pictures

Two are from the "Dream Stream" the third from Deckers. Two different stretches of the South Platte. Gotta say I'm blessed to have such good fishing so close
  6. Sparkle yarn emerger. Holding the phone horizontally did it
  7. Looks really good. I like the uv/epoxy case
  8. Did rotating the phone to take pics not work for the pics to show properly? Oops, my bad I totally forgot about that. I'll try again later tonight.
  9. You bet. my pleasure. The "variations" are half prince/half 20 incher, more or less
  10. For what it's worth you have my vote
  11. So much inspiration from all of you.
  12. My $.02. i agree with McFly. 5-6x flouro. Nothing bigger than 22. 24's and 26's mostly. You can fish two flies and the hooks have to be barbless. I've had good luck fishing under a clear small Air-Lock indicator. (http://bozemanangler.com/montana-fly-fishing-blog/posts/137/Product-Review-Air-Lock-Strike-Indicators/). The screw top makes it really convenient to adjust for depth. When the fish are rising to emergers fishing those little midges like you would a dry/emerger has been a great tactic for me. The fly is in under the meniscus, if a fish "rises" where you think your fly is set the hook. With the tiny hooks the set doesn't need to be very hard, just tighten up on the line. If you missed the fish let your drift continue. I'ma convert to Trout Hunter flouro. IMHO it's head and shoulders better than Rio, etc.
  13. I tied up a few last night, I'll take pics and post 'em after work. Curved hook. Both with and with out a bead, tailed and tailless. No pink ribbing, I used red wire. I think they look really fishy. Thanks again Lucian
  14. Chugbug27, Bimini15, Thanks for the 411. I'll give your suggestions a try tonight.
  15. Are you taking them on a phone oriented vertically? Yes, I am. Seems like you have the solution. What is it?
