Right On Schedule...As Always

I kid my wife Linda about being the family plant lady...and here is a look at why.

We can count on our Christmas Cactus blooming on time due her tender loving care of a 150+ year old plant.

That is amazing, and those are really tremendous plants.  My wife had one grown from a cutting from her grandmothers plant, not sure how old her grandmother's plant was, but it was at least as big as that, stems would just fall off of it.  When we divorced, I took a cutting.  That one always bloomed right around Thanksgiving.

Both of you are spot on regarding the plant. Linda took a cutting from the plant of a friend, and that friend got it from here grandmother...hence knowing the approximate age of the plant shown here.

If it maintains its regular routine, it will bloom again around Easter.
