AF_Tier 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 Sent my Zonkers, but I'm stationed overseas, so could be a bit before you see them. Definitely be there by the deadline, but just remember the motto of the USAF postal service: "We'll get it there...eventually."
srfrsean 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 Addy here as well. I'm live from Springfield, Oregon this week at the in-law's house. The McKenzie river is flowing at 5600 cfs and rising due to rain all this week. It's killing me cause the locals have said that there's still summer run steelhead only a couple of miles from the house but the river is so high I'm going to be lucky just to find a place to access the river let alone fish it well. Everyone else including the guides have hung it up for the week but I'm determined to get my lines wet. If you never here from me again you'll know I tried to hard :headbang: Happy T-Day to all, Sean

carlp5351 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2006 Sean, I will thinking about you Saturday when I'm on Cheeseman Canyon, chasing big bows and browns. Looks like they have dropped the flows a bit running about 110. Have a great T-day Carl

flyfishingwright 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2006 Pat, Your flies arrived today. Very nice. To answer you question regarding the location of Paradise. We are really not too close to Burney or Shasta about 3 hours or so. If you are familiar with Chico, we are right about there maybe 8 miles or so to the North East. It is a pretty area, 2000 ft. in elevation, lots of pine trees. Very lush and green. Pretty good fishing in the area and close enough to alot of other good fishing. Looking forward to seeing some more flies this week. It does usually take an extra day or so for the mail to get here. I have finished mine, so when the other flies arrive I will send them out as soon as possible. Steve
srfrsean 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2006 Hey, just an update to say that I'm still in but have had some set backs recently (Strep throat at 38 and my wife is now down with the flu!!). I've had to do double duty ever since I started to recover but I'll be done well before the deadline. I'm half way done with the flies and headed back to the vice now.
