Veli auti style ??

how does one go about getting that curled tip? i tried to do this and i dont get the curled tip. i was puling the fiber off perpendicular to the feather....am i supposed to tilt it towards the bottom of the feather and pull iit off or sumthin?

dsaavedra...It takes some practice, but hold the fiber firmly at a 90 degree angle from the quill...Pop it off! It took me a few tries, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Graham and Arska, I am pretty sure I saw it in the DVD with the Hydropsyche larva.

 

Arska: I was in Kolding the past weekend giving a seminar to FFF members, I think I got a little notion on how it's gonna be at the festival :) Loads of fun!

VERN-O This is my first attempt at Ulf's leg technique/pattern. I went through several fibers before I got 6 decent ones! It is a nice technique.
