Five big red breasted bluegill today at dusk in 15 minutes, all on a grizzly Boudreaux dropper under a black foam popper.

saw them at your spring conclave and tried to tye some but they are not nearly as good as yours. spacing that tinsel is tough. :wallbash:

In my local waters, the crappie like to stage up in shallow water above rocks and tharsh the shad this time of year....take hundreds of the "slabs" on a 4 wt this time of year.....that fly would be the ticket! Nice addition to the database

very nice-simple to tie and deadly-I doubt any species would turn that down. something else that could be used for the body is the packaging material for computer parts cut into strips. always liked the translucency of it.
