Old Hat 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2009 Love this one Ray. I have been working on a very similar pattern. Almost the same color combo but using cdc instead of the seal. Hope you don't mind if I post it when I get it the way I want it.
letumgo 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2009 Thanks Carl. I have used this color scheme before for a bucktail pattern I posted a while back. It keeps popping into my head this time of year (must be the all the Halloween candy). Mind?! Heck no. I learn something new every time I look at one of your flies. I'd love to see the pattern your working on. It sounds pretty cool.

Ridleyffo 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 Ray looks like a flesh fly. Great fly but the idea of floating salmon flesh always make me long for icky looking bugs.

purolohi kalastaja 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2009 At least you didn't pick that nasty immitation candy corn that has brown in it as your inspiration. Yuck! I really like this color combo, and I look forward to the next style of fly you tie with it.
