Cheri's Blue Gill Alien flies arrived today! I've been seeing bugs by the pond that exact color of shiny green! Is it fair for the swapmeister to start fishing before the swap is over?!!!

Tried it today after lunch. Got about 8 calico bass hits but landed non. Cold front is coming in and they seem to be mouthing it.

I tied this for a swap on another board. It is a variant on the bluegill rubber legged dragon. I'm using a combination of ostrich and peacock herl in place of the chenille. I call it the twisted herl RLD. I'm still playing with the leg placement and might move them to the side. But I can report that the gills love it If this is original enough, I would like to join.

Fred calls it a foam headed frog slider but my version I think I might call it the bombadier because when you cast this and it hits the water it makes one helluva plop sound and alot of times the bass take it before you even start to strip the line in

I finished mine up the other night. I've fished it several times this week in farm ponds, and have caught largemouth bass and catfish!
