WYKnot 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2004 No problem HB, It'll be worth the wait (...and I did not want to be late for my first swap).
Hillbilly 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2004 I have had a spot come open in this swap if there is anyone wanting to join. I've already gotten WYKnot's flies and I must say they are excellent pieces of work. so let me know if you want to join. First one to yell I'm in gets the spot. Hillbilly 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2004 I still need someone to sign up to fill the open spot. I received 2 sets of flies already and they are looking great. I know some one else will fill the void in this.
atroutbum2 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2004 ok , im in. Is this pattern to target any particular fish, or just anything as long as the body is made by weaving? Im thinkin of improvising a friends subsurface steelhead patten if thats ok.
Hillbilly 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2004 Thanks for filling in, we're back to a full swap again. It isn't for any certain type of fish, just a woven body is all that is required. Everything else is pretty much up to you.
atroutbum2 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2004 I got mind done and in the mail today. They may look like christmas decorations, but resist the urge to hang em on the tree.
Hillbilly 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 I'll be looking for them. I did want to do our tree this yr with flys but the little lady said NOOO!
Hillbilly 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Got your flys today atroutbum2. You are right, I do want to hang them on the tree. They look great though. All that I've gotten so far looks good. So far I have gotten them from Wyknot mmarkey atroutbum2 I'm still deciding on what pattern I want to use and which one looks the best. I think I'm going with a hair and floss weave of a sand mite. When I get my camera loaded up on this thing I'll take pics and post them.
mmarkey 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 Are you going to post pictures of these beauties for the public??
atroutbum2 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 If he tried to take a pic of what i tied , it probably broke the camra.
Hillbilly 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 As soon as I can get the program for the camera loaded on this lousy computer I'll post some pics of what I've recieved so far. I have been having trouble with this hunk of junk for the past 3 weeks. Don't give up on me though I'll get it up asap. I promise.

Hillbilly 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Due to a illness in the family Steeldrifter has had to drop out of the swap. I'm sure we all can understand that. If someone would like to fill the empty spot that would be great, If not we will be short one fly in our returns. Don't forget the due date is the 31st.
