black chenille with green flecks

goose biots

bead chain eyes

clear scud back

black dubbing

black sili legs

Some beautiful stonefly nymphs so far, I almost hate to lower the level, but these are what I use. I have always done well with the Brooks Stonefly nymph and the Bitch Creek, so I crossed them into this.

A quick/easy realistic stone fly pattern. Grouse soft hackle legs have great action and this pattern has landed some nice steelies, landlocks, and lots of trout and bass in the NE area.

 

Like to have a few pure yellow, pure brown, or a mix like this one. Of course can tie in all black as well.
