I'm just a little bored and have to leave for work in a few hours...I always enjoy looking at other members pictures of all thing salt, so I thought I would add something new to look at.

 

If you have something new to add, please feel free. Would be nice to see a continuing thread of member pics, inspiring eye candy if you will.... Equipment, flies, water, fish, PJ's new costumes and/or mug shots. Whatever strikes you as fun (old or new).

 

You get the idea, lets get posting!

 

Seems that every time I get on the water as of late...

 

A little grouper fish stick, plentiful on the flats this time of year and great fun to catch.

 

My mid-life crisis is becoming fly fishing centric. Life is short, the kids are gone, and I want to play! Besides, the wife said the Booby Hatch is not a smart way to spend money and I can't keep what I pay for

Dave, I'm not sure what to make of your crack about PJ's mug shots. I'll have you know that I've been a model citizen since that unfortunate incident at Uncle Dub's farm last spring. (luckily for me, the goat disappeared just prior to our Fourth of July barbecue and was unavailable to give testimony) In fact, the arresting officer made it clear that not only was I extremely photogenic, but expressed his gratitude for giving folks around there something to talk about that didn't concern the probability of rain.

I don't know what to make of the fact that certain culturally deprived individuals here are obviously jealous of my superior fashion sense and dancing prowess. I once lost an entire column five minutes before deadline, which is why I started writing (and frequently saving) anything I'm going to use on the web on a word processing document, then copy and paste at the last minute. Also, the Firefox "undo" command will usually restore accidentally deleted text.

Just a Pic of a recent T-storm over the marsh that I snapped with my wife's pocket camera. A few days after this, I was sitting in the Jeep, watching some heavy weather out there when I noticed the wind was ripping in two directions at once. After my usual "duh" moment, I realized that it was actually blowing in a big circle and it was headed right at me. I think I covered the 100 yards back to the house in about .03 seconds. I would have taken a picture of it, but I was too busy cowering under the kitchen table. We had several waterspouts and tornadoes that day - funnel clouds all over the place. Sometimes the weather gets a little TOO interesting around here. (LOL)

It's been a little slow fishing and busy work and home for me. Water here is still dirty, making sight fishing difficult.
