Beautiful looking flies. Do I see a little glue along the shoulders? Is that to hold the feathers together or to hold shape?

hook dressed with fine mono thread...

hook shaft wrapped with Bill's Bodi Braid...

away goes the thread...

all the pheathers are welded in place and the eyez encapsulated with Bug-Bond Original... [Light Cured Acrylic]

google: "phly welding" for some step-by-steps...

I posted this in another thread but probably should have put it here because it's more relevant. In any case here is my humble attempt. This techniques does produce some neat looking flies.
