TROUT FLIES FOR RIVERS CONTEST


READ CAREFULLY


DEADLINE: September 1, 2013

FLY TYPE: Muddler Minnow (all variations)


PRIZE: 60 bags of SDNS Dubbing


ENTRIES: Unlimited


Flies will be judged by quality and composition of the fly.
Judging will also include public voting where pictures will be posted.
Flies will not be returned.
All inquiries should go to [email protected]

Include your name and email address and a mailing info sheet will be sent.

  • Contact me for mailing information.
  • Mail your flies
  • A link for voting will be posted here and emailed to entrants.
  • Any questions can be asked in this forum also.
  • I have given 3 months till cut off because the summer fishing takes up a lot of our time.

We have a hook holder with 6 clips nicely placed in a wooden base. Finely crafted and donated by Fishingbobnelson. I have one and it adds class to my tying bench. Makes my flies look a lot better too. LOL. Thanks for your generosity Bob. I will post a picture later on.

Just to let you know emails of notifications for entering are starting . The muddler was chosen because of the variable techniques on one fly.

 

You can enter as many flies as you want.

Well, you know, it rubs off on ya. He'll be speaking Gaelic soon. Watch out if he posts pictures of fiddles or a set of spoons. If that happens I'll have to go visit his kitchen.

Count me in. Do they have to be designe for trout? Here on the left coast we use a lot of muddler variations for coho as well.

Well, here on the right coast we have trout as big as your coho so....Any muddler will catch ours. And welcome!!
