Michigan Trout Guy 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2005 I just finished my flies today. I decided to try some variants, and considering the time of year, I tried to imitate stonefly colors. I hadn't had a whole lot of experience with variants, so I'm hoping I got the hackle sizes right. Also, the ribbing on a few of them floated around on me, but I think they should still do the job. My oringinal pattern for this swap was going to be the Easy Peasy USD BWO . I wasn't happy with the results , so, I opted for my favorite dry . Again I apologize. Mostly because I drank about a liter of Mountain Dew today, but also because this will be the first fly swap I have completed.
