Is that synthetic quill you've weaved? And if so, has it stretched enough to create that taper? Or you've wound it over a tapered under body?

It´s clear stretch tubing woven over a tapered underbody :-)

P.S.

What brand or type of tubing are you using; do you happen to have a link to it? The regular flytying tubing is more expensive; I didn't know if you were using a less expensive type or what I have used in the past like larva Lace and some of those variations.

Thanks again!!

Beautiful fly, but you always do beautiful work. I love woven flies. What is the underbody?

Thanks!!

Thanks a lot for your kind comment, Harold :-) :-)

I use Wapsi Stretch Tubing. Great material for making woven bodies :-)
