NC_Horn 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2015 I purchased a Montana Mongoose online from a store I visit in Maine. They mistakenly had it listed at $99. Love It and feel so lucky to pick it up at that price. Duane

petelangevin 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2015 Great vise. Was not sure it would go so high. Someone posted another starting at 250$.
the.atmos 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 HMH is an awesome company. One on the best, in m opinion. There are so many good vises out there around the 150-200 range.
Byron 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Great vise. Was not sure it would go so high. Someone posted another starting at 250$. I like mine. The only problem is that the friction knob, I think, must have been an afterthought. You really need it due to the inherent weight of the vise head in order to maintain a smooth rotary movement. I wish they had used a different friction setting mechanism.
