Question about hens and rosters.

Get all the webby feathers I could ever use from run of the mill barnyard cocks and hens.

But yes the whole genetic thing was in aid of the tiniest dry flies. And of course tying more dry flies per feather. No more using two or three feathers to hackle a single #16 dry. Marvelous how small and long the stems got in genetic birds.
