Guest Report post Posted May 19, 2021 Did somebody mention stone flies?

TroutFodder 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2021 Nice work denduke. Larger stoneflies fish best with prominent legs. Great work with the rubber and biot legs - and quite the extensive variety with both nymphs and dries. I see some with white packing foam wings - this is a material I use on occasion as well. mikechell 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2021 This is another of those patterns I've tied, failed to catch fish on, then stopped tying. These were tied back in '16 while in Richmond, VA.

niveker 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2021 Nice stoneflies, all. I mostly fish a wet pattern. I find a simple and quick to tie can be just as effective as a more involved pattern, at least for the waters I fish.
