xvigauge 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2018 While sitting at the vise last night, a full grown adult yellow stone fly landed on my fly box. I kid you not, this really happened. There is a small creek across the road from me that contains no fish other than a few crayfish. I suppose there could be some stone flies there though I have never seen one until this one landed. I have no idea how it got into the house. Any ideas on what this may mean? Or was it pure coincidence? Joe

FIN-ITE 34 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2018 I thought you were going to say that at the time you were tying an adult stone and the likeness was so remarkable that the real thing flew over and tried to mate with it.

vicrider 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2018 My only fishing superstition is to throw back the first fish of the day...unless it's one I plan to eat later, then it's okay to keep it.
rstaight 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2018 When I played golf on a regular basis when ever we would tee off across water I would throw a ball in before teeing off. No, I am not superstitious.😀
