utyer 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2014 Fresh water shrimp ties. Two are nothing but mono. Ok some of the mono is kinked and sold as fish hair, super hair, or ultra hair (I don't remember which.) The dubbed bodies are made from a mixture of left over bits of glo bug yarn. and the shell is a baggie.
Piker20 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2014 3rd and 5th shrimps for me. A baggy? You mean a plastic carrier bag right? That term has a different context in UK.....
utyer 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2014 Not sure what a baggy might be in the UK, they speak a different language over there. Yes, the shell is made from a strip of a plastic freezer bag.

BassMouth87 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Some great baitfish patterns so far this month! Eide: That first pattern, care to elaborate on materials? Antron wing? Habanero: Are those tied like the Low Fat minnow?
ScottK 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Baby Bluegill Very nice.
Habanero 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Yeah pretty much the same as the low fat minnow, used Gamakatsu Finesse wide gap # 2 hooks and subbed out materials to make it work. Link to tying video from the originator of the pattern:
