I would try using the plastic off of coke bottles you should be able to get alot out of one and it is thin enough i would try a tear drop shape and lay down a good thread base after tying it in. the hair should spin fine too. and with using coke bottles it should be some what rounded too.

Hi Ridley it is his Devil Bug wet but yes it is a deer hair bug. I will try and post it in the database. I dont know how to do that. I would just need to label it a Tom Nixons Devil Bug wet right? I would have to say look at all that rubber man those things are awsome. I would like to see how thats done . I am not even going to trouble you with asking for a step by step bet those things are some what of a pain to tie up. but man they look awsome. Chance

I am from Tx. too about 30 mins south west of fort worth and I love tying flies I havent bought really any flies but a few to take apart and see how they tied it and then one to keep sometimes. I guess I have been fly fishing and tying for about 2 years now and tying for alittle longer.

Got mine the other day and yall did a great job on them. I would like to send out my flies for yall. I guess if I dont get a addy for everyone I will ask the SM of up coming swaps if it wouls be ok to send them to them and they could stick them in yalls return boxes.

Hey Deeky What if we get one more in on the swap and we all still tie 12 flies and that way everyone could do 2 sets of 6. I would be up for tying 6 flies of the sun perch and then 6 flies of another I could do a baby bass or a blue gill pattern bind back. havent tied one yet but could work one. AND THIS IS A BUMP TO COME ON TYERS ....

I am sorry to all I have been in a little town called Uvalde my wifes grandpa isnt doing to good and we had to go down to help make funeral arrangements with her mom and grandma. I flies will be out in the next few days will ship them over night and again I am sorry. He isnt doing to good he is refusing any meds and hospice I think he is just ready to go but really hasnt eccepted it yet I think.
