  1. MuskyFlyGuy's came today. Good looking set Tom. Thanks for the extras as well. Good timing as I'm going on a little smallmouth adventure tomorrow. -Mike
  2. I would certainly be interested. The size limits are a good idea. I would be fine doing ten but I see how it would scare people off. In the musky swap earlier this year I did big articulated flies in the 11"-12" neighborhood and it wasn't that bad. I did all of mine in different color combos and that definitely made tying that many jumbos more enjoyable. It helped spread the materials out plus it was fun thinking up the next color combo I would do. -Mike
  3. Got mine today. Hopefully I'll feed them to some big Ozark browns this fall. -Mike
  4. Vicrider's came in yesterday. Great set like always. How are everyone else's flies coming along? -Mike
  5. Looks like I'm the last one in. Put me down for some royal muddlers.
  6. I mailed mine today. I had a momentary lapse in sanity and decided to tie on 32s. I suppose they're trico F flies. Little bit of thread, little bit of CDC, real little hook. Getting them on the toe tags was kind of a nightmare.
  7. Glad to have you. Two spots left, who wants them?
  8. Looking for six swappers for a smallmouth bass swap. Everyone will tie two patterns. One will be a topwater fly and the other will be a sinking fly. Toe tags, return envelope WITH RETURN POSTAGE and all that other good stuff just like always. 9. I got mine in the mail today. Now that I'm all caught up on swaps I think I'll be hosting one. I kind of like the way my streamer swap went this spring with having a small group tie two different flies. I'm debating between doing a smallmouth swap where everyone ties a floater and a sinker or another streamer swap. The streamer swap I think I'd have everyone tie a pattern that already exists then make up an original fly for their second one. Here's my baby raccoon mice.
  10. It's my fly for the swap so you'll be getting one.
  11. I've been tying some rodents. -Mike
  12. Ready to mail. Do you still live on N. 3rd? -Mike
  13. I should get mine headed your way Tuesday or Wednesday this coming week.
  14. Finished up the tying last night. I'm going to put a couple extra coats of varnish on the heads then they'll be headed your way.
  15. That looks a lot like what I'm tying. Mine are a different coloration and have rubber whiskers. -Mike
  16. I seem to have lost your address, so, addy please. -Mike
  17. Decided to give the Holberton a try. The mandarin in the tail and wing is a real pain. It didn't want to marry to the duck quills I usually use on these. I dug out my goose shoulder and that married.
