Ok guys, I started stippling poppers last week and after lots of practice here are the show worthy ones. It's alot of fun and I think everyone who ties poppers should give it a shot! (These aren't Ron Braud's, Jeff Price, or Jeffery Deramus flies....but they are ok..) The one in the fish I don't have close up's of..

I love using 1 strand floss...and I find silk much easier to use than rayon.

I got box 1! I will have it out in a couple of days.

I think you need to make it articulated. Too many short Strikes...

I quit tying for people...it made tying no fun for me....now I only sell to the occasional person. And friends. once the show season opens though....that might all change...

beautiful flies Ray, My grandfather just passed away and he would have loved those flies. he served in the Korean War. I think people should better understand what that day means.
