I've seen many newly stocked trout do that with absolutely no signs of hatching insects. Perhaps they are just enjoying being out of the confines of the hatchery and stocking truck.

I'd have to say hungarian partridge is used more than anything. Seen some good deals on full skins at some other sites recently.

Theres been alot of great flies tied by alot of great tiers on Thompson vices. Still workhorses after all these years and affordable.

I've been using a Montana Mongoose for about a year now. Decent vise but alot of small quirks that bother me. Overall not entirely satisfied.
