  1. A few tips I think are key to tying an effective midge. Criticism is always welcome. Hope you enjoy!
  2. Nice Job, Steve! Really like the measurement wraps too. Simple touch and very useful!
  3. Spent last Saturday on a beautiful spring creek with a good friend. We caught a few. Enjoy!
  4. Here is my latest video. Such a simple pattern, but so effective. I'm a big fan of simplicity, haha. The only thing difficult about this pattern is the size! Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
  5. Thanks guys! hope you all have success with it! Post some photos if you do!
  6. Here is my latest tying video. This is one of my favorite flies for smallmouth and trout! Super easy but effective. Hope you enjoy!
  7. Probably caught more fish on this nymph than any other. Thanks for watching!
  8. Thanks guys, it was amazing. Feathers5- The weather was pretty typical for that time of year. The rough weather and the coldest weather was when I hiked to the higher elevations. When I got above 8,000 ft it seemed to always snow of hail on me, haha. In the lower elevations around Bozeman it seemed like it was still summer for sure. Hopper fishing and 75 degrees somedays. Pretty wild!!
  9. Very Cool. Lots of potential with this idea! Thanks for sharing!
  10. Took a fantastic trip to Montana last fall and this is the video. Amazing place and amazing fishing. Video and photos just don't do it justice. Fishing starts around the 6 min mark. Before that is some cool backpacking and camping footage along the way. Hope you enjoy!
  11. Thanks for the input, Vicrider. I'll be sure to put that correction in the description box of the video. You are correct, no doubt. I guess I'm so used to tying them with a single wing that I didn't think of mentioning it until the video was uploaded and Dave pointed it out. I appreciated it though!
  12. Thanks Dave! I know your suppose to use matched pairs for the wing. I used to but, I always struggled with matched wings. Started just using a single wing and the fish don't seem to mind, haha. I should probably try matched wings again (been a few years) in an effort to tie the pattern properly. But like I said, they fish well and when it comes down to it thats what really matters if you ask me! Your color variations sound pretty interesting!
  13. Thought I would tie the classic muddler this week. Check out how I use a lighter to shape the deer hair head. Works great!! Enjoy and thanks for watching!
  14. Thanks flat rock! I've been thinking about some other color combos for this guy. The possibilities are endless really!
  15. Really appreciate that kudu! Thanks!
  16. Had the same issues with a pair a few years ago. Never bought them again. Just picked up Pat Cohen's serrated scissors and absolutely love them so far!
  17. Hey guys, here is my video from last friday. Comments and critiques welcome. Enjoy and thanks for watching!
  18. I was able to use the Regal tool bar today. I like it a lot. I was a little concerned through because it seemed like it wouldn't fit on the stem of my vice! it was super tight, but I was able to twist it on and get it in position. The regal vices must have a slightly smaller stem. Other than that its awesome! It has a lot of storage space for such a small area! I think it will help keep my area clear and more efficient.
  19. It was a great show. Es able to speak with Pat Cohen for a long while. His talent is truly amazing! I also bought too much stuff. I think I have a problem....
  20. Anyone else going this weekend? I will be there all day Saturday. It was a great event last year! http://flyfishingshow.com/lancaster-pa/
