Based on your test Kimo, what is your uv of choice? It seems a lot of your ties (mind blowingly awesome by the way) utilize uv, I have silver creek and love both the products I have from him, but I always like to see what else is out there as well. I keep wanting to try out loon's uv, I might just have to break down and grab some, it seems more experimenting will have to occur on my behalf to see what I prefer. This information is a great help, thank you.

Peak makes a solid vise, I believe it's $150, Mike Spencer could give a better opinion than I can on it, but I've only heard good things about it

I live in southern oregon, the rogue river has some of the best steelhead fishing in oregon. There is also the umpqua which has great smallmouth fishing, or if you dare, the smith river and you can go after some sturgeon haha. The possibilities are truly endless, the deschutes is great as well, plus they have a vibrant population of bull trout.

I've only bought then one time and it was a box from orvis that I've barely even made a dent in; definitely worth the $9. I'm curious as to who you prefer to buy from. I like the orvis ones, but I'm still keen to try some other brands to see if I like any other brands more or less.

That is one fluffy looking mouse! Looks great. I bet it will create a good wake on water. Brings to mind the complex twist mouse I saw a while back on fly fish food. I tied a few up.
