  1. If you're on his mailing list you can reserve them before he puts the leftover boxes on the website. Should be a couple weeks I'd guess before he outs then up. Definitely have some great stuff
  2. Based on your test Kimo, what is your uv of choice? It seems a lot of your ties (mind blowingly awesome by the way) utilize uv, I have silver creek and love both the products I have from him, but I always like to see what else is out there as well. After seeing what you put out I'm interested in what you use. Thanks, Tanner Roque,I am huge fan of the Loon products and have been using them since UV Knot Sense. My Latex Scud and Mysis Shrimp could not have been possible without it. Kimo Awesome, thanks for getting back to me and letting know your opinions, Im gonna have to give loon a try it seems
  3. I keep wanting to try out loon's uv, I might just have to break down and grab some, it seems more experimenting will have to occur on my behalf to see what I prefer. This information is a great help, thank you.
  4. Great article as always Cheech, love what you guys put out and the information you make so accessible. I'm also curious as to if you had a "favorite." I know you said you're an ambassador for loon, but I'll keep it a secret if you have a different favorite haha.

  6. Peak makes a solid vise, I believe it's $150, Mike Spencer could give a better opinion than I can on it, but I've only heard good things about it
  7. I'm in! Pm sent your way vic. 12 of my fav. trout nymphs
  8. Just got them today as well, man they look better in person! No offense to your photgraphy skills Bob, but something about holding them beats a picture haha. I can't wait to put these to use next month when the winter run starts!! Also my apologies on the return shipping Bob, I can reimburse the extra money it costed you to send them back
  9. I live in southern oregon, the rogue river has some of the best steelhead fishing in oregon. There is also the umpqua which has great smallmouth fishing, or if you dare, the smith river and you can go after some sturgeon haha. The possibilities are truly endless, the deschutes is great as well, plus they have a vibrant population of bull trout.
  10. Some dry foams coming off the bench tonight, simple and fun.
  11. Been a while since I've contributed to the song of the day, I've been busy studying like a mad man lately, as is the story of my life I guess haha. Here's a good instrumental cover from a Guitar player that I rellay like from Russia, hope you enjoy. Been a while since I've contributed to the song of the day, I've been busy studying like a mad man lately, as is the story of my life I guess haha. 12. This one never fails to produce fish for me, it's also a lot of fun to tie. I believe it's called the ugly baetis
  13. That belongs in an art museum, I'd be afraid to fish it because I wouldn't want to lose it, beautiful as always Kimo
  14. I agree, it's unfortunate but I'm dying to see what everyone else has tied.
  15. Awesome, thank you Fin, Pica, Rolf and Bob. Definitely going to have to give them both a try, they both look a lot better than the orvis ones I am currently using. They're more full and have a better consistency from what I can tell in the pictures of then
  16. I've only bought then one time and it was a box from orvis that I've barely even made a dent in; definitely worth the $9. I'm curious as to who you prefer to buy from. I like the orvis ones, but I'm still keen to try some other brands to see if I like any other brands more or less.
  17. A modified Hogan's hero and a Sz 20 hopper hot off the vise last night. The Sz 20 was definitely a challenge
  18. Thanks for the kind words Bob, definitely were lots of fun tying
  19. Nice tie Rogue! I really like the bushy collar. That will have lots of action. Chuck, thanks again for the kind words, I really appreciate them. I'm hoping to sling this guy this weekend, homework permitting of course haha
  20. Thank you very much FlaFly, was definitely fun trying to get good angles, I might just have to keep the cork thing going haha
  21. Soft hackle and a red wire and tinsel body.
  22. Just finished them up tonight, they'll be heading your way in the morning Bob, thanks again for letting me participate.
  23. That is one fluffy looking mouse! Looks great. I bet it will create a good wake on water. Brings to mind the complex twist mouse I saw a while back on fly fish food. I tied a few up. The LMB loved them. Let us know how you get on with your pattern. Cheers. Chuck, thank you for the kind words, greatly appreciate them. I'll definitely be posting my progress as it goes along, gonna have to try that complex twist mouse. I love doing complex twist patterns.
  24. First attempt at a foam mouse. I'm going to use a zonker with shorter hairs on it for the next one.
