i sent dave some mini bombers(size 10 hook),hopefully he will use them,cuz thats definately different for bluegill

i only buy material when i know im running low,even though it is a bit of a mess in that box

i tied a jig last night that had rattles in it.it was tough tying the tail,but once i got past it(and secured the rattles with chenelle) it was easy to tie.if you want to see it,go to the "Pics of your desk" thread.by the way,i used Northland Buckshot Rattles (clear case)

i like hatches,simply because it has many patterns and the how to tie it section as well.good photography,and its multi species as well.its a great magazine

yes ive been waiting to vote since i already sent my flies back in august i think its one of the best times of the contest is voting on all the great flies and waiting on how yours did

ok why not photo them as soon as you get them,not enough time?or ya like me,not bothering until the last minuute :hyst:

smalliehunter,i have a question.when you get the flies for the contest,do you immediately take a photo of them,to do you wait until all flies are in?im just wondering cuz it would be a lot of work to try to photograph like 500 flies in one day :bugeyes:

o will you guys stop debating,as smalliehunter said,this is a fly tying contest.this is supposed to be fun,but now we're arguing because someone decided to work on a semi-realistic and then sent it into a category that they thought was right because they weren't trying to make a realistic.im with steeldrifter on this one

i know dsaavedra caught a perch fishing for bass using a clouser,whixh the perch was about 10-12"

good looking fly,i couldnt see why not a fish wouldnt hit that
