Mark Knapp 0 Report post Posted January 26 It's thirty below zero today in Fairbanks and I have a nasal infection. I have a strict rule about that, I never go ice fishing when it's 30 below and I have blood in my boogers. If it warms up a little or the infection clears up I'll still go. Till then I'll just have to wait till one of them goes away. Whichever goes first.
SilverCreek 0 Report post Posted January 26 Have you tried wearing a KN 95 mask so that you are not directly breathing in cold air? It help a lot. I know since I live in Wisconsin where outside air temps get below 0 degrees F. It has to be the kind of mask below so that it is tight and it keeps a pocket of warm air that helps warm the cold outside air that you breath in. Poopdeck 0 Report post Posted January 27 Those two rules sound reasonable to me. My rule doesn’t allow me to go fishing if it’s below 30.
