john1962 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2024 Have a few years fly fishing using older gear, heddon glass/martin reels. Recently picked up on the art of tying my own flys, just gets hard when your an older man looking at a size 16 hook or smaller and can't see s***. I love it. Best part is catching fish with fly you ty yourself. Still working on that, whip finishing is the worst, I about tied my finger to the fly twice and broke the thread countless times. Never give up!
