Dry Fly Swap

Gang hope everyones still talking to me after screwing things up foregetting to get your flies out on time.If anyone would be kind enough to comfirm for the others that at least one guy has recieved their flies.That way we can say something went right.

 

I know i was trying to go for swap king their for a while and ended up as the joker beheaded.Come on guys

 

i know someone has recieved their set by now.Come on be the first to say the swapmiester screwed up but us swappers can still get things done right.

 

Come on now who's going to take the first crack at me i can handle it.I'm on a roll now don't you know.Swap box went missing for sometime and then this.No one's going to want to be in my swaps no more

or have me :crying: :crying: no ones going to let me play no more.LOLYou guys are great.

 

On a more serious note though if someone would say they recieved them i'd fill better and know that they are showing up.Thanks gang for the understanding.First and last time anything like this will happen again.

Hey Rick,

 

Its cool buddy, I didn't get mine yet but since I'm in NYC (Staten Island), I usually get them later then most. Sometimes life gets in the way of things that we have no control over. I still would be more than glad to join a swap with you. Hope everything goes back on track for you!

I got mine today. Very nice ties guys. I'm looking forward to some field testing and learning some of those patterns. Sometimes it seems the smallest variations can make such a difference. I hope you guys posted those recipes in the pattern database... hint, hint. Thanks again for hosting TT and thanks to everyone for making the new guy feel welcome.

It's the top of a glad sandwich bag. I had to open a few different ones in the supermarket before I found the right one. I use it on my ants and midges, makes them easier to see. It's what A.K. Best suggests. And it works.

I love them all!!!! I really like the damsel fly, who tied that one??? Would you mind sharing the recipe and the tying instructions?

 

Oldfart, really like the ant, was looking for a reliable flying ant pattern. I really like this one. Cool idea with the glad bag too. So what style did you use? Don't really want to open a bunch of boxes, lol! they put us in jail for things like that over here in Canada.....LOL!!! :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :j_k: :j_k:
