Oh yeah, we need that one in the database! It looks like it would be electric in the water.

Glad you liked the Pike fly

the materiel used is Triple flash Hanks.

Mixed flash in 3 coler.Top fly is Pearl/Blue/Black.

The 2 under is Red/Yellow/Pearl.

First i tie in the Monofilament at the bend of the hook

this wil be the weed guard. i make a couble of flyes ,normally 3

at the time.then i Epoxy the wrappings on mono.when dry i tie on the tail

of flash.Epoxy the wrappings, let dry. Then make a loop vith the tying thread,

insert the flash and spin.then wrap araund the body. Now tie in the monofilament

infront of the flash body.Make a head ,Epoxy, put on eyes and Epoxy.

thats it

They look great. That much flash will surely attract big ones. Give us a report onn durability after you have caught a few pikers on them.

TCR,

Those are some GREAT looking Pike flies! If, by chance, you should need someone to field test them for you, I'd be glad to oblige. I'm headed to the Boundary Waters in a couple of weeks for a couple of weeks and I would have ample opportunity to try them out for you ;) . This, of course, would not cost you anything with the exception of the 6-8 flies you would send me to try out for you. Afterwards, I could rant ad nauseum about not only how good the flies performed but also what a generous person you are. :j_k:

All kidding aside, those do look good; great tie!
