troutguy 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 Put me down for a Tennessee Coachman. I never heard of it until I moved down here (SC) from upstate NY. The fly is a coachman with chartreuse instead of red.

pickin6ofem 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2006 Hey anyone know which page the coachmans start in the database??? I want to see if I can ty one or not???? Pickin
Don Stracener 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2006 pickin6ofem, You can tie one. You need Peacock, floss, a little hackle and a wing. Go with a Trude Coachman with calfhair for the wing. Use any color floss you want, red is standard, yellow is california it's wide open. http://www.fishingwithflies.com/Hare-wingRoyalTrude.htm Shows you a good picture. These are a lot easier than the split wing dry!
