KVRNut 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Here's some local fall color from around where I live. Ernie Up at my favorite fishing hole. Took a walk through a local park on a day with high overcast. Interesting little bush. Love the deep reds it has.

Frogg07 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2007 Yesterday a couple friends and I went on a hike to Kaaterskill Falls (highest falls in NY). We were a little late for the peak colors, but it was still beautiful. This one is from behind the upper half: Chris

Scud 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 I think the colors should be there all year. Never mind green I would like reds and oranges all summer.

Peterjay 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 Haven't had time to do much shooting of late, but the brook in our front yard still has a bit of color. The leaves have mostly dropped here in the valley, but there's still some on the mountainsides. it's been a lousy year here for leaf-peeping - too warm and dry in Aug. and Sept. Frogfish 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 There's a back-country road here that has gorgeous overhanging maple trees that create a vibrant yellow arching canopy during the fall, but it has been raining here the last 4 days, and most of the leaves were stripped from the trees...
