Sketch 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Thanks for the wishes. I wasn't out on the water, but rather out hunting bears. Had an amazing trip. Went into an area I've always thought would hold some animals and saw 14 black bears in a 10 hour period. My buddy has always wanted to get a bear, and got a nice one. With meat, hide and skull, we decided one bear was enough weight to pack out between us. I also wasn't interested in shooting a black and was looking for a brown bear. But none showed up. That's ok - just seeing that many bears, watching their antics, and seeing my buddy get a nice black made for a completely successful trip.
