Roadkill 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 Love at first sight-my first vise circa '59.
ThaSandman 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2010 OK. So I thought I would shoot for "worst vise", but that last one from '59 is really something - I'm not even sure what I'm looking at there.... I got this early 90's for a school class - I think I paid $16, and it was worth every penny! The jaws started to wear out last year, so I put the handle on the other side, and spun the bottom side of the jaws to the top. I should get another decade or so out of this baby now.... troutguy 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2010 I have a modest collection. Actually I took this shot in the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum. Quite a collection huh? Actually I have the lower row one shaped like a "7" and a Renzetti Traveler. The older one beats the Renzetti any day.
smallieFanatic 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2010 Wow! Very impressive. You actually had me there for a second
troutguy 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2010 Smallie I went to the museum in August. I had not been in ten years probably. It is the Holy Grail of fly tying. They have everybody's set up there. You are able to see how they set up and tied (and drool) .
