Now all I've got to do is figure how I'm going to tie a leader to it

That makes my eyes hurt thinking about tying a sz 30. Impressive! Hopefully you'll be able to catch a ladybug!

Thanks Dart ;)

Do they fight well on a #2?

It depends on if it's from Alabama or not. We feed pork fat to everything that lives here... if that's the cast, you may need a #4!

I'm not sure which I like more...your beautiful fly tyed on a size 30 hook (insane) or the crystal clear photos. I'm impressed by both, Dave. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work. Keep crafting wee flies like that, and you'll be accused of bein' one o' the little people! ;)

hey dave a little trick I learned as I got older is when tying them little bugs if you start out after tying your thread base if you add a short piece of tippet into the fly it makes it easier to tie to a leader at a later time great fly I love it

Thanks everyone!

Where does one buy Hends Syntron Thread? I really like the green color.

Try here for the thread: http://www.irishflytying.com/component/virtuemart/?vmcchk=1

It's a dual fibre thread - great for tiny work.
