:yahoo: This is to be a fun contest. :yahoo:

WHO ? - Anyone who considers themself a beginner. If you can sleep lying down or ever got wet ( in the water).

 

DUE DATE ? - Aug 31, 2010

 

RULES ? - You must tie the fly yourself and get them to me on time. There are 3 catagories of flies that can be tied. You can enter all three catagories or just one, maybe two. Enter one fly for each catagory.

FLIES ?

1: SCUDS

2: NYMPH

3: ADULT CADDIS

 

I will post the pictures of each catagory after closing and voting will take place.

 

PRIZES

 

The winners of each catagory will receive a variety pack of samples containing items such as listed in post below. Just samples of materials that can help you try and learn different flies. I have excess and will make kits that will be worth your effort.

 

To send in your entries, please PM me when you need the address. Make sure to include your full name and return address (printed clearly) with your flies.

 

Just PM me and let me know you are in.

PRIZE LIST

 

Each Variety Pack will consist of samples of the following;

 

(I will list the materials for the prizes as they are submitted.)

1) 1 Dozen each of Bronze wet Hooks sizes - 8-10-12-14-16

2) 1 Dozen each of Bronze Buzzer/Nymph sizes - 8-10-12-14-16

3) 2 yards of clear stretchy cord

4) 2 Dozen of 2.25mm Metal link eyes

5) 2 Dozen of 3mm gold brass beads

6) 2 Dozen of 4mm gold brass beads

7) 1 of each Goose Biot (11) colours - brown, dark grey, amber, purple, light grey, chartreuse, pink, green, white, black and olive.

8) 1 strand of Krystal Flash (colour to be determined)

9) 1 Realistic (type TBD) tied and donated by: riffleriversteelheadslayer :cheers:

10) 1 yard each of blue, red and black chenille.

11) 1 yard each of beige/gold, brown/drk brwn cord, caddis body wrap.

12) 6 Raccoon strips, (zonker style)various lengths.

15) 1 sm bag of Ostrich herl of various colours.
