JohnP 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 Swap is now full. I would like to host my second swap. This will be for a dozen tiers, plus myself. Each participant will choose a wet fly from Ray Bergman's book "Trout," either from the collection of wonderful flies by Don Bastian referenced below, or from the book itself, tie a dozen of those patterns, add toe tags and a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and mail the bunch to me in an altoids tin or similar container by Jan. 1, 2011. http://hatchesmagazine.com/blogs/Hatches/c...man-collection/ 1. atroutbum2 - Olive wren (got 'em) 2. ibrb - Caldwell (got 'em) 3. JohnP 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2010 Wonderful swap idea. I'm in if you will have me! Pattern TBD Glad to have you. Thanks for joining! Looks like we are already half way there, so if you are thinking about joining, please do. As of now, we are getting a bunch of viewers but not many takers. Don't feel you have to be a master at this style of fly to join in. I am certainly not, by any means, and some of the patterns are simple enough that even a thumb-handed tier such as myself might be able to tie an acceptable version.
