hook-line&sinker 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2011 I tie a lot of foam flys for bass and bream and know this type of fly tying is really good for beginners. I've posted several videos recently on my YouTube Channel on how to tie these types of foam flys.

EricF 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2011 I've used old flip flops. That said, recently I've been drilling plugs out of flipflops with a cartridge case in a hand brace (only thing I have with a large enough check to hold a .44 case). Works great, but the cut isn't particularly clean. Any advice? E
