Hello all,

 

It is time for me to host my first swap. Since the warmwater bite is really turning on, I decided to host a Smallmouth Flies swap.

 

<b>Here is my idea. I thought it would be cool to get a variety of Smallie bugs, so I was thinking about having 12 members broken down into 3 catagories. 5 people would tie topwater, 5 people would tie streamers, and 2 people would tie big smallmouth nymphs. </b>

 

All standard swap rules apply - toe tags, SASEs, ontime, etc.

 

Due date - 6 weeks from today - <b>June 1, 2011</b>.

 

Send in 12 of your pattern = get 11 new and 1 of yours.

 

What do think? If you want to join, reply with I'm in and what type you are going to do - topwater, streamer, nymph.

 

I will be the first in and will fill in to a catagory where needed. I'm flexible and have an idea for each of the groups.

i cant pass up a smallmouth swap. i tie a neat ISA bug which would close to a nymph catagory rich mc

I'm in! I'd love to be in top water if there's still room. Gonna tie up some of those Drakes Wounded minnows I saw a while back on here. Probably with zonker instead of hackle tails but I'm not sure yet.

I checked out the Wounded Minnow fly. That looks like a great bug!
