Thyme to start posting

Recommended Posts

I have been tying for a few years and I am looking for some criticism. I mostly fish for stripers. This is my attempt of a bunker or large profile bait fish. Any suggestions would be appreciated

My only criticism would be you took so long to post and only posted one. It looks good as a bait fish.

Nice tie - the albacore are gonna love that one.

Welcome to the saltwater board. I think you'll find a lot of tying and fishing talent here. Just don't be fooled if some of these guys seem a little weird - trust me, they're EXTREMELY weird.

Agreed. I'd eat it.

I third those motions!

That welded fly looks good. I like using neck and saddle feathers on the flat like that as a topping. While duck feathers are used that way on some flies you don't often see neck and saddles used in that way. Nice job on both.
