Moparoo Caddis

  • Body Olive Mop (slight haircut on tail to taper tip)
  • Head/legs Kangaroo (dubbing loop)
  • Thread mono

Tied this one up the other day. Looks great in the water. Couple of bites on it but no takers. Had to give up the long rod anyway after the wind kicked up. Very cool looking fur.

That thing has hypermobility ...it wags it breathes and crawls all at the same time!

The stuff is easy to work with, has very durable fibers and a good strong hide....should wear like iron.

Not having much to work with I took care in how I was cutting as to not ruin any of it.

I first combed adjacent fibers to the side and used scissors to cut a strip.
