utyer 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2014 One of the simplest (and effective,) surface patterns for Steelhead is the Bukley River Mouse. The mouse is tied entirely with deer or elk hair, and the version I tied a lot of was done without any body at all, just a wing. With a couple of changes, the pattern can be turned into a nice little Cricket or Bee. I used foam for the bodies on these. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
